Pixie Lott Makes Sweet Music With Joe Jonas

Disney star Joe Jonas is hoping to bring a British invasion Stateside, after teaming up with U.K. pop singer Pixie Lott in the studio. The Jonas Brothers frontman has been enjoying the company of Londoner Lott in Los Angeles after the pair met at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Berlin, Germany in November.

And Brit Award nominated Lott is thrilled to have the pin-up help her launch an assault on the U.S. pop charts.

Lott says, "It's so exciting. I met Joe at the MTV Awards in Germany and now I'm working with him in L.A. We wrote a song together in the studio, which I love, and we've been hanging out. We're not really partying because we aren't old enough to go to clubs in America - you have to be 21. So we go for dinner instead."

"I imagine there are a lot of girls who are jealous of me at the moment. He's such a lovely guy."

Jonas Brothers Lead Kids' Choice Award Nominations

Joe Jonas and his brother Nick will battle it out at the upcoming Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards after both were nominated for a top honor. The siblings received nods in the Favorite TV Actor category for their roles in Disney show JONAS- but face tough competition from twins Cole and Dylan Sprouse, who star in The Suite Life on Deck.

Disney queen Miley Cyrus is up against her pal Selena Gomez (Wizards of Waverly Place), Miranda Cosgrove (Icarly) and Keke Palmer (True Jackson VP) for the Favorite TV Actress award - but her hit series Hannah Montana has been sensationally snubbed in the Favorite TV Show category. Gomez and Cosgrove's shows will fight it out for that honor, along with Sonny With A Chance and The Suite Life on Deck.

Cyrus dominates the music categories - picking up nods for Favorite Female and Favorite Song for Party in the USA. The track goes up against I Gotta Feeling by the Black Eyed Peas, Paparazzi by Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift's You Belong with Me.

The teen sensation, Swift and Gaga face R&B superstar Beyonce Knowles in the Favorite Female category, while Jay-Z, Sean Kingston, Mario and Ne-Yo are all in the running for the Favorite Male nod. The Black Eyed Peas and the Jonas Brothers picked up one further nod each - for Favorite Music Group. They'll face British band Coldplay and rockers Linkin Park.

It's the battle of the movie hunks in the Favorite Actor category - Zac Efron (17 Again) will face off against Taylor Lautner (The Twilight Saga: New Moon), Shia LeBeouf (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen) and Tyler Perry (Star Trek).

In the actress category, Cyrus receives a nod for Hannah Montana: The Movie and is up against Sandra Bullock (The Blind Side), Megan Fox (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen) and Zoe Saldana (Star Trek).

Action blockbusters Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and X-Men Origins: Wolverine are up against fan favorite The Twilight Saga: New Moon and kids' classic Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel for the Favorite Movie accolade, while Up, A Christmas Carol, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs and Monsters vs. Aliens are all in contention for the Animated Movie award.

Monsters vs. Aliens stars Reese Witherspoon and Seth Rogen are both nominated in the Favorite Animated Movie Voice category, along with Jim Carrey (A Christmas Carol) and Ray Romano (Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs).

Jonas Brothers To Go Back On Tour

Jonas BrothersThe Jonas Brothers have laid rumors of an imminent split to rest with plans for a tour this summer. Speculation about a possible break-up has been rife since youngest brother Nick Jonas formed new band The Administration in November.

The siblings have repeatedly brushed off reports they are to go their separate ways, with Joe Jonas most recently insisting they "are not breaking up."

And now fans of the trio can breathe a sigh of relief - the boys have announced plans for a new tour later this year.

Speaking during an interview on Radio Disney, Kevin Jonas says, "We are going back on tour this summer."

Younger brother Nick adds, "It will be unlike any tour we've done before, and we're really looking forward to getting back out there with our fans."

Joe Jonas & Demi Lovato Take Love On Tour

Pop star sweethearts Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato are to test their romance by hitting the world's stages together.

The Jonas Brothers have revealed Lovato will be their special guest at dates on their upcoming three-continent tour.

And the lovebirds will also team up onstage to perform tracks they've recorded together for Disney's "Camp Rock" and "Oceans" films.

The couple went public with its romance last month when they showed up at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards holding hands.

Jonas, who previously dated Taylor Swift, said, "We've been best friends for the longest time and now we're just kind of taking the next step and it's been really fun."

Lovato added, "Over time feelings grow, and for me, as much as I wanted to deny it, the feelings were always there."

Jonas Brothers Field Questions Online, Justin Bieber Attending Public High School? (Video)

The Jonas Brothers recently sat down for an internet chat with their fans, and a few users took the chance to make fun of Nick Jonas - perhaps Miley Cyrus fans? Plus, Justin Bieber could be headed to a public high school in California.

The Jonas Brothers went online to promote their upcoming tour and field a few questions. It started out innocently enough as a fan asked what hairstyle they could try on as a wig (Kevin wanted an afro, Joe opted to go bald). Then came a few oddities, when someone inquired why Nick's Twitter feed was so depressing. His brothers came to his defense before quickly moving on to the next question. Later on, Joe read the question "Nick, what's with the face?"

In other news, Justin Bieber is looking at options for his education and apparently could be attending Thousand Oaks High School in California. Are the public school and its student ready for a sudden surge of star power? It's easy to see how Bieber could be a huge distraction to students and faculty come fall semester.

Nick Jonas To Reward Diabetes Sufferers

Nick Jonas is to reward fellow diabetes sufferers for the good work they do in their community - by meeting them in person to hand over a charity cash prize.

The Jonas Brothers star, who suffers from the illness, is teaming up with Bayer Diabetes to launch the Give Back Simply Win competition.

The singer is calling for fans who have diabetes to submit an application detailing how they are benefiting their local community.

Jonas will then help to hand-pick three grand prize winners, who will meet the star and choose a charity of their choice to receive a $5,000 donation.

Jonas' Season Two Breaks New Ground For The Jonas Brothers

The Jonas Brothers are back for a second season of their Disney Channel series, self-titled Jonas. Fans are going to get to see a whole new side of Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas as the second season takes them in different directions.

“We take a trip, we go away from home, we go to Los Angeles for the summer and spend it the three guys in a house in L.A. and really take on everything L.A. has to offer,” Kevin Jonas said. “It’s the first time Disney’s ever done a continuous storyline show. It’s going to be an amazing thing to see and hopefully the fans will be able to connect with it and I think our fans, where they are now, will definitely be able to relate with our characters and everything that they’re going through.”

The show is only part of the Jonas Brothers empire, which includes movies, albums and charity. First and foremost, however, the Jonas Brothers remain musicians.

“I think we came into this having a life plan which was we are a band first,” Kevin said. “No matter what we do on the side or we want to divert, we always want to come back to being a brother band. Just staying true to who The Jonas Brothers are but really for us, it’s exciting that we can be and do so many different things, like our new television show, Camp Rock 2… There are so many different things that are happening and it’s going to be really nice.”

Jonas returns June 20 on Disney Channel.

Fan Names Hippopotamus After The Jonas Brothers

The Jonas Brothers have a hippopotamus named after them thanks to an animal-loving fan who adopted the mammal in their honor.

The hitmakers admit they have had some weird and wonderful gifts from their adoring fans in the past, but the big animal tops the list.

Joe Jonas says, "A hippo was one of our gifts once. Somebody adopted a hippo in our name, so that was pretty amazing."

But they have no idea where in the world the Jonas Brothers hippo lives. Joe adds, "I'd love to visit one day."

Joe Jonas Working On A Solo Album

Joe Jonas has announced plans to release a solo album away from The Jonas Brothers.

The 20 year old shot to fame as the lead singer of the Disney sibling trio but now he's ready to branch out by recording his own material.

He tells Just Jared, "There's nothing to hide. We're just waiting for the right timing. There's a lot of Jonas stuff going on this year, so once there's a place for that record, we'll release it. You'll hear a lot of new music from us."

The youngest member of the band, Nick, was the first to launch a separate side project when he formed Nick Jonas and The Administration last year. The Lovebug hit-makers have repeatedly denied rumors of a split and are planning to go on tour together this summer.

Joe Jonas Dumped Demi Lovato To Focus On 'Friendship'

Joe Jonas chose to end his romance with Demi Lovato in order to maintain their close friendship.

The 20-year-old Jonas Brother split from the teen sensation earlier this month, just weeks after the pair went public with their relationship. And now Jonas has opened up about the split - admitting it was his decision to end the union to focus on being friends.

He tells People, "Demi and I knew going into our romantic relationship that it may not be an easy one. I realize over the time we have shared together that I feel I care more about our friendship right now. It was my choice to break up but I love her as a friend. She's been there for me when I needed her. I will continue to be her friend and be there for her."

Meanwhile, Lovato has spoken out over claims Jonas dumped her over the telephone.

In a post on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "There are so many crazy rumors flying around today. I'd like to clear a few things up. First, Joe and I did split but it wasn't over the phone. Things didn't work out but we'll remain friends. Secondly, I am NOT dating anybody already. Nothing is more important to me than the relationship I have with my fans. Just thought you guys should know this."

Both singers are due to start their joint tour on July 27th in Dallas, Texas.

Nick Jonas To Make West End Debut

Nick Jonas has signed up to appear on the West End stage for a three-week run next month, according to a revered London theatre producer.

The Jonas Brothers singer is already a Broadway stalwart, having performed in a range of productions on the New York stage as a child before embarking on a pop career with his siblings. He previously appeared in Les Miserables in 2003, and is now set to return to the musical to play Marius in the British capital.

Jonas will appear at the British capital's Queen's Theatre from June 21st for a three week run, according to theatre impresario Cameron Mackintosh.

He tells Britain's Daily Mail, "I went up to him at the closing night party in New York and told him he was terrific and hoped that he would one day return to play Marius. We've been in touch a lot and, of course, since then he has become this world-famous star. He and his father and I agreed that it would be great if he came and played Marius here in London. He has bent over backwards to fit it all into his schedule."

The 17 year old is expected to jet into the U.K. to start rehearsals at the beginning of June.
